Ellie Vogel
Before starting Franchise Finder, LLC, Ms. Vogel worked for 20 years in the medical diagnostics, blood banking and biotechnology industries. Her ongoing education, (including languages, and masters degrees in Biology, Business and Computers) prepared her for key positions in international sales and marketing with Corning Medical, which led to her founding her own medical distribution company in Latin America. This extensive international and multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese and French) experience strategically complements her U.S. marketing roles with Haemonetics and Genzyme. She has also worked as an independent consultant in strategic marketing for medical service and biotech startups under her own consulting company, Amedicas LLC. This extensive experience in sales, marketing, international, general business and entrepreneurial roles makes her well-suited to help other people connect with their own "right" business or franchise opportunity. Her corporate and multi-cultural experience also makes her a perfect liaison for multi-cultural individuals that are looking to adopt the franchise business model.
Tom Vogel
Mr.Vogel is a principal of Franchise Finder, LLC. Since 1995, Mr. Vogel has been an entrepreneur, investor and consultant to startups in Boston, MA. He has started and invested in over 10 biotech and high-tech companies, and has been the CEO of 4. He is on 4 boards, one of which is a public company, Pressure Biosciences, Inc. Prior to 1995, Mr. Vogel was the President of the largest laboratory supply company, The Fisher Scientific Company, in Pittsburgh, PA. Previous jobs include President of Instrumentation Laboratory, Inc., President of Ares Serono Diagnostics, Inc, and Vice President of Abbott Laboratories’ Diagnostic Products Division. His education includes an MBA from The Wharton School, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Ga. Tech.
